Pastor Corinne Johnson
 

Pastor Cori is a native of Merriman, Michigan, which is about ten miles north of Iron Mountain, Michigan. She attended Kingsford High School graduating in 1995. After graduation she attended Albion College in Albion, Michigan studying political science with a concentration in public policy and service. Following college, she attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, achieving her Master’s of Divinity Degree in 2003.



Her first call was at Palmer Suomi Lutheran Parish, now Community Lutheran Church, in Marquette County, Michigan. She served there approximately five years with special emphases on transformational ministry, children’s and youth ministry and discipleship.
Prior to coming to Gethsemane Lutheran and St Stephen’s Lutheran, she served as the intentional interim pastor at Faith Lutheran in Rock, Michigan.  She has served as the chair of the Northern Great Lakes Synod Evangelism Committee.
