A congregation of the Northern Great Lakes Synod and Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Gethsemane Lutheran Church welcomes you. Jesus is Lord! We are a small, close-knit congregation who are committed to making Jesus Christ an important part of your life. Our services are traditional, with a little “twist” thrown in once awhile. But no matter what we do, we always keep Christ at the center. We know we are saved by the grace of God alone, through our faith that our sins are forgiven for Christ’s sake, who died to redeem us.

We hope you find this website helpful, but we also hope you’ll visit us. Feel free to stay for fellowship or a Bible Study after the service. Perhaps there will be a spaghetti supper by the “Kids for Camp” group or a sauerkraut supper by the “Church Ladies” during the week you are here…or better yet a potluck dinner after the service. We hope to see you in person soon!!

Gethsemane’s Guiding Principles:

We believe in the Triune God who leads us.
(We believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit together as one, who we trust will lead where he intends us to go. If we listen to His calling and allow him to even lead us where we may not want to go.)

Through Prayer we build a relationship with God.
(Prayer and listening to what God is telling us, is most important and must be part of our Christian lives in order to know what God wants from us, and to build a lasting relationship with Him.)

Spread God’s Word and Grow Disciples.
(When we spread God’s Word, as the result of our work, we will grow disciples for God.)

Everyone has gifts.
(Each of us has gifts to offer. We don’t have to be ordained ministers or trained lay preachers to do God’s work. It’s not all about donating money to support ministries. Our time and our talents are gifts that can be given to the world.)

We are a welcoming and inviting church.
(All who come to worship and receive God’s Word are welcomed unconditionally. We invite all to experience God’s Word.)
